FALL LEAVES
Depending on where you live in the United States, depends on how many seasons, one will see a year. In Maryland, there are four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter; Every person has a favorite season. Some may like Summer because they will be able to go the beaches. Others may like Spring because of nice temperature, and newly blossomed flowers and leaves. Few may like Winter because of snow. But of four the seasons, Fall is my favorite because I love watching the leaves change color and fall off the branches.
One reason Fall is the most interesting is how I envy the way leaves change their color and eventually fall from trees. It is amazing to observe leaves change from dull green into bright red, orange, yellow, and brown. Palmate leaves are impeccably wonderful as they resemble a work of art. In the Fall of 2013, I collected leaves that seemed perfect to me and placed them neatly in a Ziploc bag. I even encouraged my sister to pick up some of the beautiful leaves, so they could serve as a memory for her. A memory of how she felt during those moments.
Another reason I like Fall is how leaves fall from their branches like organic attractive confetti. It makes me want to dance under those trees! I imagine myself standing in the middle of the road with array of trees on each side, staring at the colorful leaves dance in the autumn breeze. Fall leaves give me a relaxing sensation that I often reminisce about good moments from the past. These leaves give me inner peace just by watching how smoothly they glide through the air until they reach the ground. I look at them in awe, keeps them in my memory, and wish that that these tranquil moments remain.
In conclusion, Fall has captivated me the most. Fall, from the word itself, is when the leaves change in color and fall gracefully from their branches leaving trees naked and leafless. The serenity I feel during Fall will be dearly remembered and will always be my favorite season of the year.
